For All the Dads

Father’s Day is This Weekend

For most of us, Father’s Day is a day of reflection and family. Looking back at the experiences shared and memories made with Dad, or living in the moment of being a father to your own children. Or both. Some of us don’t have our fathers with us anymore, and that can make the day a little melancholy. We can still show our appreciation toward the other father figures in our lives with kind words, time well spent, or thoughtful gifts.

Father’s Day Fun

If you need something to do with your family, be they your kids or your parents, the Berkshires has a bunch of fantastic events and activities for you this weekend. For you girl-dads, there is the Berkshire Mountain Faerie Festival all day at Bowe Field in Adams. A fun and educational day of Earth stewardship with food, vendors, and magical activities. If you are in Pittsfield, the fine folks at Jacob’s Pillow will be showcasing an Afro-Latin Jazz and Soul Experience music and dance residency all weekend. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the Clark has a few exhibits running that will be sure to feed the muse of all art lovers.

Father’s Day Deals

Himalayan High wants to be a part of your Fathers day, but only when the kids aren’t around. Unless your kids are over 21. In which case, take a family fun ride to our shop. If you’re the younger generation, bring in Dad or Gramps for some terrific bundle options. If you are, or have a, Dope Dad, we have a nice gift idea for you. An eighth of flower from remediation free Twisted Growers, along with an Apple Fritter micro-diamond infused preroll and a regular 1g Spritzer pre roll. That’s a nice little trio of goodies for your run-of-the-mill Dope Dad. If you are like some fellas, and are a Super Dope Dad, we have a little something extra for you, if you can handle it. Our Super Dope deal features three different eighths from Twisted – Gush Mints, Orange Cream, and Super Boof – plus one of those Apple Fritter micro-diamond infused pre-rolls previously mentioned. Great products for a great price for a great guy. Of course, moms, sisters, uncles, aunts, cousins and anybody else of age can enjoy this holiday deal as well.

Last Spring Weekend

The weather has been pretty hit or miss on weekends in the Commonwealth so far this year. Saturday has pretty much been rain day, and Sunday has usually been a little better. Looks like this Father’s Day weekend will be similar. But, there is plenty to do in the area, rain or shine. I’ve told you a little about what’s going on the community, but it’s a big weekend for sports fans as well. The NBA and NHL playoffs are in their final stages, the US Open of golf is underway in Long Island, and the Red Sox are hosting the Yankees in Boston for three games. If you have to stay inside, you’ll still be entertained. If you’re like my family, a joint on the porch with Dad and my brother (also a Dad) while listening to the ballgame on the radio is as good as it gets. If we get to throw a ball around or hit the beach even better. It’s Fathers Day weekend, where anything and everything is on the table. Have fun,

be safe, and please include Himalayan High in your plans.
