Best In Grass Contest Winners

Himalayan High wants to thank the Best In Grass organization for the opportunity to include our humble little store, our budtenders, and our customers in their contest. We were honored to take part and I know our guests loved it. We’re already looking forward to next year’s contestants.

Not only was Himalayan High the only dispensary in Western Mass to be involved in the distribution of Best In Grass contest bags, and not only did our awesome Berkshire customers exercise their voting rights on all the different categories of products, but we also carry several of the podium earners on our shelves. As a local craft-style, boutique cannabis dispensary, we like to support the little guys like us, so it’s a special treat when craft growers like Bountiful Farms, Cape Cod Grow Labs, and Pioneer Valley Extracts bring home some hardware for their quality efforts.

The curators at Himalayan High spend a significant amount of time and effort researching not only the products we bring into the store, but also the people behind the brands that make them. We look for responsible growing and manufacturing practices, a shared philosophy of plant knowledge and customer empowerment, and the highest quality, premium cannabis products in the Berkshires. Among the many brands we carry, two were recognized by the Best In Grass voters for having the best flower in the Commonwealth.
Cape Cod Grow Labs’ delightful sativa, Lion’s Breath, won the Golden Grinder for Best Sativa, while Bountiful Farms brought home the Bronze Bowl for 3rd place with their stinky and potent indica flower, Candy Pave. Right now, we have the award-winning Candy Pave (1g Preroll) in our bins, and Himalayan High will be unleashing the Lion’s Breath at our Deli-Style Bud Bar next week.
We haaaad the Lion’s Breath in eighths, but sold out quickly once the word hit the streets of Massachusetts celebrating its Best In Grass victory. We do still have Cape Cod Grow Lab’s Cape White Shark, Hellcat, Zoap, and Paul Morphy in either buds or prerolls. All fantastic flavors, aromas, and effects, from the same gardens that grew the BEST, so you know they’re going to be fire, podium or not.
Pioneer Valley Extracts near me?
Yes, award-winning Pioneer Valley Extracts cannabis products are available in the Berkshires and hill towns. You read about Cape Cod’s flower up above, but Pioneer Valley Extracts has it going on as well. Coming in 2nd in the infused preroll category was Pioneer’s Firecracker line with Supercharged, and boy is it. That particular strain is currently unavailable, but we do have a half-dozen other Firecracker varieties, including the fruity Peach Rings, the mouth-watering Mango Super Silver Haze, and the sweetly satisfying Grapeness. Coming in around 40% or more TAC, these babies are as effective as they are tasty.
Pioneer Valley Extracts also brought home a Bronze in the non-rosin vape category. We have their Grapeness (0.75g Disposable Vape) available now.
Concentrate…. Concentrate….
We’ve already mentioned that we have a drawer full of Bountiful’s medal-winning Candy Pave (Preroll) in preroll form. Those fine growers also had a Non-solvent concentrate that ended up on the medal stand. Purple Mercury came in third, but we have Purple Lambo and Southern Hashpitality that were both pressed by the same hands from the same greenhouse.
With super high TACs and terpenes for days, these delightfully gooey dabs will rock AND roll your day or night. We also have RSOs and temple ball hash from them. Concentrate, extract, hash… whatever you call it, it’s exemplary, and Himalayan High has it.
