About Pudding Hill Farm
Right in our own Berkshire neighborhood, one the Commonwealth’s most unique cannabis stories is unfolding. Pudding Hill Farm is a small, organic cannabis grow, usually cultivating less than 40 plants each cycle, with a focus on sustainability and small-batch quality. These fellas are all about the homegrown style and time-tested traditional horticultural methods while incorporating just enough modern technology to keep up with the high standards of the Mass cannabis industry.
A Partnership Made in Soil
We greatly value our affiliation with Pudding Hill for several reasons. For starters, we are both veteran owned businesses. The sense of community and purpose among veteran owned small businesses is a tangible thing. As best we can, we look out for one another. We are also both minority-owned businesses. Himalayan High has women in our ownership group while Pudding Hill is a LBGTQ+ owned company. We are both fighting for our respective place in the cannabis industry; to be represented and seen as equals among our business peers. We are also both located in Berkshire County and relatively new to the Massachusetts cannabis industry, so we need to promote the quality and selection of western Mass cannabis. We’re a small, boutique dispensary in the Northern Appalachians, they are a small (the smallest) craft grow within a 20 minute drive of our front door.
Why We Like Pudding Hill Farm
Small companies that conduct their business in old-fashioned, personal ways just feel better to work with. Tom and Scott are those kinds of people. They care about their plants the way people care about their kids or pets. And at Himalayan High we love our pets, so we can associate with the level of responsibility those guys feel for their girls. Each plant is personally handled by Tom or Scott everyday; hand fed, hand-watered, and inspected daily to ensure the highest quality flower and best possible smoke. Even their packaging was quaint and personal. Nothing overly flashy or sparkly, just classy, earthy, and to the point, including hand-written details on each jar. The traditional kind of presentation you’d expect in a home goods or farm store.
Pudding Hill’s Flower
Another reason we love working with Tom and Scott from Pudding Hill is their choice of genetics. Nowadays, reading through a cannabis menu is like reading through a listing from a candy store. Silly names for silly strains. Not with Pudding Hill. They have a healthy respect for the traditional uses and benefits of the cannabis plants, so they specialize in landrace strains. Proven genetics than have been around for hundreds of years. Classic flavors and terpene profiles that have stood the test of time. Right now, Himalayan High dispensary in Becket has Lamb’s Breath, Bob Marley’s favorite strain, a heady and uplifting sativa. We also have 70’s classic, Maui Waui, A smooth heavenly smoke with tropical, fruity flavors framed with a hint of menthol. Almost a citrus tingle on the tongue. Melt away any anxieties with the dreamy, creative and inspiring effects. Like sitting on an island beach, watching the afternoon sun dot diamonds on the sea, and this batch of fine flower wraps up with a delicious Pink Kush, for you, indica lovers. Born from an OG Kush phenotype, Pink Kush gives deeply relaxing effects with a euphoric onset. A nice sedative with the big issues of the day being relegated to their rightful place on page two. Sweet vanilla notes with a delicious fruity background. She rearranges a crazy world and makes it right. Just sit back and watch the splendor of the emerging Fall colors. And yes, it helps with pain relief and insomnia.
