While the unique cannabis buying experience of the Bud Bar at Himalayan High is going to be a constant feature on Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout the year, the actual flower offered may vary by season or harvest. Currently, as of June 4th, we have 4 varieties of hand-trimmed flower from our local friends at Aruna and one of our newer partners, Cape Cod Grow Lab. Both Massachusetts cannabis growers make sure that along with growing some the finest premium cannabis in the state, they do so with a mind for environmental stewardship and sustainability. Aruna does this by incorporating a clear-roofed greenhouse that allows the sun to provide most of the energy with only a need for supplemental lighting. Cape Cod Grow Lab is doing their part toward this end by mating decades of under-the-radar experience cultivating legacy strains with modern, state-of-the-art grow technology. Our counter stock currently features a lovely, violet-tinged sativa from Cape Cod Grow Lab called Paul Morphy, along with Grapes and Cream (HI), Pineapple Donut (HS), and Jealousy (HI), all from Aruna. Are there deli-style pre-rolls available also?
Glad you asked. Yes, Himalayan High also has deli-style service with pre-rolls options available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. As of the time of writing, we are the only recreational dispensary in the Commonwealth offering this uniquely personal experience. June’s well-curated menu choices are all half-gram straight rolls with a paper filter from Aruna. Choose from stinky indicas Grape Gas and Blueberry Muffin, mellow hybrid Blackberry Runtz, or uplifting sativa Blue Andeeze. Mix and match in multiples of 5 to make your own bundles and flight packs. Heading to a concert? Get three tasty sativas for before and during the show, and a couple hybrids for the afterparty. If you and the gang are heading out into the woods for a long weekend of camping and hiking maybe a ten pack is more your style.

Why Not deli-style service?
While the fun visceral experience of getting an order made personally for you, and financial value of Himalayan High’s first of its kind bud and pre-roll bar are unmatched in the region, there are some drawbacks. Mainly, freshness. A light-proof, airtight bag or jar is going to keep that perfectly cured bud at it’s peak flavor and freshness better than a larger vessel that gets opened frequently. Less oxidation, less light exposure, and better preservation of terpenes will be your reward for choosing prepackaged buds. In a few cases, we have the same phenotype of flower available in pre-packaged and deli-style presentation, or in labeled eighths and also in deli-style pre-rolls. Depending on the day, how you feel, and what’s in your wallet, all options might be possibilities at different times.
